Privacy policy

Hisar.biz is a local directory where businesses list their products and customers find them.

What we collect

• Businesses: business name, type, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash). Anything you add to your profile or products is shown publicly once your business is approved, except your login email.
• Enquiries: the name, phone, email and message a customer enters are shared only with the business they are writing to.
• Security: we keep IP addresses and browser details to stop spam and to recognise browsers you have already confirmed with an email code.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you logged in and one to remember a browser you confirmed with an email code for 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies.

Emails

We send login codes, important account notices, and a monthly reminder to keep your products up to date. You can turn the reminder off in your account settings.

Deleting your data

Signups that are not confirmed within 72 hours are deleted automatically. To delete a confirmed account, email susheela.gill@gmail.com.
